In December, The Sunday Times published its annual Parent Power Survey of top-ranking schools based on external exam results.

Choosing to publish performance tables based on pre-pandemic examination outcomes from 2017-19, the survey confirmed that KES was once again ranked as one of the top performing schools of any kind in the South West and 5th within the independent sector.  The survey also confirmed King Edward’s as Bath’s highest ranked school and the only school in Bath to make the region’s top 10.

One of the most striking aspects when reporting on external results is the School’s consistency over time.  In the seven year period from 2013 to 2019, for example, A Level results average over 85% A* to B and GCSE results over 77% for grade 9-7/A* to A.
