The netball season at KES got off to a fantastic start last week as over 100 girls took part in pre-season training over a busy three days. Excellent netball was played and notable progress made.
During training, KES netballers were delighted to welcome to school former pupil and England International, Rosie Allison, and Welsh International, Clare Jones, who undertook masterclasses with the squads - sharing both their skills and experience of the game.
Pre-season training also saw KES host some warm up invitational tournaments, with the U16 and U19 teams in action against Kingswood, Royal High, Taunton and Monkton Schools, and the U14 squad taking on Clifton College and Taunton. Additional games saw the U16 & U19 teams play Canford School.
Pre-season coaching also extended to Junior School squads.
Looking ahead it promises to be an exciting netball season. Fixtures start this week with matches against Monkton, Clifton College and King’s Worcester School.
