Alex Among the Prizewinners at the HMC Golf Singles Championships

Many congratulations to Alex Marshall (Year 11) who was among the prizewinners at the recent HMC Golf Singles Championships held at The Berkshire Golf Club, just outside Ascot.

Currently playing off a handicap of 4.3, Alex was given one of the Championship’s coveted opportunities to play in the competition and posted a great score of 73, 2 over par, to take joint 5th position.  Alex’s success follows his earlier participation in a regional qualifying tournament for the England U18s training squad (held at Cumberwell Park), where he shot the lowest gross score.
