KES Teams Take 1st and 3rd Place in Local Geography WorldWise Quiz

Two teams of Senior School Geographers enjoyed success on Tuesday night at the annual Bath round of the Geographical Association’s WorldWise Quiz.  KES teams were placed first and third (narrowly missing second place by one point!).  Taking part in a quiz format that involves a University Challenge style face-to-face quiz, the teams answered questions about Iceland, OS maps and city anagrams, amongst other topics.

Securing two of the top three spots means that both teams qualify for the Bath-Bristol final in March 2020, where they will compete against the winning schools of the Bristol round.  Many congratulations to all those involved!
