Riddle Me This .... Who Can Write Brilliant Riddles?

Reception children, of course, who have just had their riddles featured in a new book – My First Riddle – published by Young Writers.

Young Writers collated riddles from schools across the UK as part of their new poetry competition, My First Riddle, designed to introduce Reception pupils to the delights of poetry. With no limits to their answers or their imaginations Reception children could write about anything from people, places or animals to objects, seasons or food and much more!

After writing their riddles, the KES Pre-Prep children who entered the competition were thrilled to learn that a selection of their poems would be featured in the new book.  This week they received the published book, together with their competition certificates.
