Many thanks to OE Dr Eliza Hutchison, a junior doctor in Bristol, who in her capacity as an ambassador for Skcin, The Karen Clifford Skin Cancer Charity, visited children at the Pre-Prep yesterday to help them become Sun Safe Superstars!
As a skin cancer charity, Skcin is dedicated to promoting the importance of sun safety and the early detection of skin cancer. Its Sun Safe Schools accreditation programme provides primary schools with comprehensive free resources to assist them in their duty of care to safeguard children against UV radiation and prevent skin cancer through education.
Hoping to pursue a career in Dermatology, Eliza led an informative, yet fun interactive session during Assembly with Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children.
