Last week Year 6 was knee-deep in recyclable materials, researching, planning, and producing an educational game for children as part of the Junior School Dragons' Den Challenge.
The whole cohort worked in groups of four creating a game using the research they collected from all of the children in the Junior school. Their games were original, inventive, and clever. The judges: including Mr Price, Mrs Jabarin and Mrs Livesey and Ms Trump from the Year 7 team in the Senior School, faced horse jumps, sponges, quizzes, strategy moves and forfeits involving Mrs J completing the worm move on the floor and the Haka!
At the end of the competition there were plenty of awards on offer to cover the overall winning team, best produced game, best presentation and most original concept.
Well done Year 6 on your amazing efforts and all the hard work, teamwork and creativity you brought to the challenge.
